Healthy or happy choice dining will soon be on its way north.
The long-awaited third home for locals SkinnyFats has been locked down, arriving later this year at the Shadow Mountain Marketplace in Centennial. Sitting at the intersection of I-215 and Decatur Boulevard, the outdoor, 350,000-square-foot retail center is anchored by Costco and a Best Buy and is already home to Wing Nutz and the Honey Cakes Cafe.
Skinnyfats have been itching to expand since 2014, when it was part of future dining plans at the Grand Bazaar Shops in front of Bally’s Las Vegas on the Strip. They were scheduled to join fellow locals Nacho Daddy in sites only now on their way to being occupied by Chicago-import Giordano’spizzeria and the first Nevada outpost of Wahlburgers.
Best know for their dueling menu options, offering healthy or “live happy” indulgent choices, SkinnyFats already operates at Dean Martin Drive, close to Town Square, and 8680 W. Warm Springs Road in Spring Valley. Both locations are open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. SkinnyFats promises their Centennial location is “coming soon.”
