North Cove Gap at Dawn Iceland Alice and IThis subtle and haunting picture was taken on a cold November day, at dawn, where a narrow gap joins Essex's North Cove to the Connecticut River Estuary. The gap is treacherous as the current is fast flowing with sharp rocks lying just beneath the water surface at low tide.
