The doorknobs feature a tapered top and bottom with 16 long facets. The facets come to a flat area on the face. The middle has a flat rim running along the center line. The doorknob measures 2 1 4"diam. The glass area is 1 1 2"h. I cannot find this shape in any of the catalogues, so the maker and specific date is unknown. It most likely dates after 1900 because the
