When I found this squirrel, what stood out wasn't the blood and gore itself, but the fact that it had arranged itself around the squirrel like petals; I thought instantly of the shapes within vintage wallpapers and lace fabrics. Here, the blood has been cut away, allowing lace to replace it as it peeks through,
