There is no poly batting inside, just two layers of pure cotton khadi that make it genuinely light and breathable in a way that most store bought quilts cannot claim to be. It is easy to wash, long wearing, and useful in multiple ways, as a bedspread, a throw, a picnic blanket, or even a wall piece
